A mobile phone is something very personal. After all, this small technological marvel is filled with personal information, which maybe shouldn’t be seen by other people. For example, certain messages, pictures or videos, which have been taken by the cell phone’s camera. As personal as it is as individual the owner wants to design it. What catches someone’s eye first is naturally the logo.

By now, mobile phone logos have a real tradition. Already with the first multiline displays new logos could be imported to replace the less nice logo of the network operator. Those consisted naturally just out of a few pixel in black and with and had therefore not been really spectacular.

Individual cell phone – the cell phone logos

With the growing size and growing quality of the mobile phone display, the phone logos grew equally and adapted to the state of technology. Multicolor logos exist already for years, with the adequate color depth they are up-to-date, whereas up to 16 million colors are not a problem, if one has the adequate mobile phone model.

In former times the choice of mobile phone logos was limited, because with only 16 colours or in black and white and limited space on the display the possibilities for cell phone logos are limited, too. The logos had been and still are purchased from providers that have specialized on the distribution of cell phone logos, ring tones and other accessories. However, thanks to the latest connection technology in cell phones, one doesn’t have to pay for logos necessarily, anymore. Just as well one can just transfer any picture for example by data cable or Bluetooth from the computer, which could be downloaded from the internet. Without any difficulty, on a multitude of cell phones this picture can now be used as a logo.

Anyway, a lot of commercial providers still offer logos for sale and sell them pretty successfully. The reason for this is obvious; the logos are elaborately designed and sometimes even animated. Doubtless, this is all the rage as a cell phone logo because moving pictures are naturally much more interesting than static pictures.

Also the exchange of mobile phones is nowadays a welcome activity, especially among young people. Like ring tones and mobile phone videos, the phone logos are exchanged and collected enthusiastically.
